Originally, ‘Golf Valley’ was dominated to the golf courses located in Nueva Andalucia, Real Club de Golf Las Brisas, Club de Golf Aloha and Los Naranjos Golf, although it currently incorporates La Quinta Golf Club, Guadalmina Golf Club.. Marbella has been growing providing a residential area for golfers to live, while enjoying high quality club conditions and sports facilities near their homes.
The first of the three courses to be inaugurated in 1968 was the Real Las Brisas Golf (then Club de Golf Nueva Andalucía), created by Mr. José Banús (of the fame of Puerto Banus) and designed by renowned golf architect Robert Trent Jones. Aloha Golf followed and was run by the Bank of Bilbao while developing several of the local residential property complexes. Finally, Los Naranjos Golf was created on the land adjacent to Las Brisas and completed the trio of courses.
To encourage both residential and leisure golfers, the Golf Valley has been designed to attract many different types of owners. Large mansions that line the streets coexist between smart townhouse developments and low density apartment complexes, ensuring variety and diversity but, most importantly, a range of properties to suit the requirements of second home owners (holidays), as well as those looking to establish a permanent home in Nueva Andalucia.
